Dr Frank de Vocht is a lecturer in occupational and environmental health at the Centre for Occupational and Environmental Health (Health Sciences Research Group), with a special interest in the measurement, assessment and statistical modelling of exposure to chemicals and physical factors for epidemology. His work to date includes the investigation of adverse effects from electromagnetic fields and the magnetic fields generated by MRI, assessment of carcinogenic risk in the rubber manufacturing industry and asphalt paving industry, latex allergy, health risk of exposure to pesticides, assessment of environmental exposure to (ultrafine) particulate matter, and (Bayesian) methodology for epidemiological exposure assessment and public health.
