Non-traditional scholar who commits all his time and intellectual and strategic networking resources to commission and publish indigenous, multi-religious, transnational scholarship, in ways that remove colonial impediments, to hear the voices of subalterns, to make the postcolonial studies discipline globally credible.

Founding series editor of Postcolonialism and Religions co-editing with J. Jayakiran Sebastian, published by Palgrave Macmillan. The new series prioritizes indigenous, multireligious and transnational scholars writing postcolonial theologies and theories. We specifically are looking for scholarly contributors without access and voice in indigenous contexts throughout the world. The first series volume, Decolonizing the Body of Christ: theology and theory after empire? co-edited by David Joy and Joseph Duggan will be published in summer 2012.
